So, in an alternative situation where the legendary! High command were not only sent to Tfp, but also most dimensions, megatron would disapprove his counterparts (and possibly the other soundwaves)?

Megatron would have opinions on a lot of his counterparts and quite a few of them would be potentially negative negative as would quite a bit of High Command. He'd also be deeply perplexed by their strangely close relationships with Optimus Prime. Or some of their genuine obsessions with him. And then the usual hostile relationships with Starscream as well.

That's his second in command. Thank you. Why would you keep someone in that position if they are (genuinely) trying to assassinate you? And why would you not listen to them? Do they not understand the point of advisors?

SG Megatron and he would probably be alright and Earthspark he'd be able to handle.

TFP, G1, Cyberverse, IDW2 are instantly on his shit list.

IDW1 would bring up conflicting feelings depending on timeline point.

WFC Trilogy and him would have a fraught but probably empathetic relationship, though his choice in the middle part of the trilogy would absolutely horrify him.

TFA Megatron would remind him of Megazarak and he'd have feelings about that. As would Unicron Trilogy Megatron.

Megatron can't dislike a Soundwave. All Soundwaves are great is a statement that seems obvious to him. He'd probably ask some of them about their relationship with his counterparts and be harsh/question their opinions on his counterparts decisions.

SG Soundwave is very bright and very odd to him but not bad. Cyberverse Soundwave is particularly odd because he feels so young and closer to Megatron's age rather than Soundwave, whom he always viewed as older and wiser.

L!Soundwave on the other hand would immediately realize he is surrounded by fucking children. He is the oldest thing alive in this room and would like his cat-wife or one of the music boyfriends to get him out of this situation immediately. He'd probably be able to get on alright with most of his counterparts but would feel very old, especially around Cyberverse, and need a break from all the socializing.

regina spektor is a violent zionist, but i don't think it's constructive or honest at all for people to be like "well her art was always bad anyway." some terrible people have made great art. This idea that artists with unsavory morals can't make good art (1) only feeds into some people's mindset that if they dislike something, that MUST mean there is something ideologically wrong with it, and (2) some people then take longer to realize the true colors of their favorite artists because... good artists can't be ethically bad right?? and so they hang on to their faves and pretend they are so righteous and defend their every move when sometimes. sometimes you just gotta accept that your favorite art was made by somebody you don't agree with, and you have to identify how much you are willing to support someone like that and what lines you have that can't be crossed

Predacon's rising doesn't happen, but Starscream and Shockwave are still "missing" for the inhabitants of Cybertron

Until one day, in the scientific areas focused on mechanical engineering and exploration, two orange and blue seekers appear, respectively, and everyone cannot avoid the feeling of déjà vu

"Hmmm, this probably nothing, right, right?"

"The Autobots aren't paying us enough to care."

"They aren't paying us."

"The Autobots aren't even paying themselves."

"We don't have an economy."

The Twins become very curious about everything and are constantly escaping their two Predacon babysitters/siblings and become cryptids spying on the rebuilding Cybertron. It takes awhile for any of the Autobots to learn anything and the one who finally does is Optimus, who is managing complaints and shifts. He catches them, realizes their ages, and gets kidnapped by their babysitters.

Cue Optimus, trying desperately not to get killed and absolutely delighted by children, trying to coax Shockwave and Starscream to join them to help rebuild society while cooing at the Twins and being endeared by them. The ShockStar couple having rather vicious fighting going back and forth about it. The Twins and Predacon Twins getting told stories of Optimus's feral childhood when they visit because they are curious about a "normal childhood" which he definitely didn't have.

And the Autobots are panicking because they lost Prime.
